Someones in the kitchen

Good evening!

Just thought we’d give you an update on what has been happening in the world of us. We have both been taking some time to work on our solo stuff.

Poor Colour Palette has just released a free ep called Children As Weapons which is available at bandcamp. It’s title track is taken from his new album which will be available later this year and the track Everyday is the song we based our song Day to Day from. I’m finishing me second album which will also be available later this year, I recon about Christmas time (please note it is not a Christmas album).

As for Braidwood Pond we have both been working on bits and pieces and tonight, after a delicious meal that Mr Palette is cooking right now and some beverages we are going to mess about with our ideas and see what we come up with. We are unsure if we are going to release another Ep or hold off and just release an album. I guess we’ll know better after tonight, but we want to get some more music out asap, unfortunately we are both still having to work full-time to live so everything takes a bit longer. We are both still working on setting up and establishing the Swan Hut Troop which is going well, we are waiting for some new material from a few of our Artists then we are aiming to release a compilation album to show case our work so keep an eye out for that.

Right I’m going to go eat.

Bye

Ginger Beer

Hey!

Let us introduce ourselves. We are Braidwood Pond, a collaboration between Thomas Simodo (Simodo Dragons) and Poor Colour Palette. We are from from small towns near Glasgow and we make psychedelic/ glo-fi/ freak folk/ experimental music.

We have just released our first ep called Ginger Beer and it is available for free on bandcamp, so I encourage you to go and have a listen and if you like it  you could download it perhaps and then maybe tell all your friends about us too just to give us a little helping hand with building a fan base.

Enjoy
